Danny Hecker

Strong integrity and exceptional attention to detail have made Danny the businessman he is today. Having come from very humble beginnings, Danny’s dedication and determination have earned him a college degree along with his real estate and contractors licenses.

Intrigued by the unlimited potential to build, restore and create in the Real Estate industry, Danny began by renovating his personal home, where like you – the details and quality mattered. When he moved to the twin cities in the summer of 2007, Danny started acquiring distressed homes…where over the next few years he worked closely with numerous contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers. He identified the need to systemize processes, establish a team of trade-professionals, and to differentiate the end product with design, quality and a commitment to communication and timeliness.

In 2013, he took his appreciation for custom work further by opening Clairmont Design + Build and teaming up with Rick Severson, an experienced design-focused contractor. CDB is committed to the productive management, custom design, and transparent communication from start to finish. The end result is a product that exceeds expectations and delights the homeowner. Client satisfaction is Danny’s top priority.

Danny, his wife Danielle of 12 years, and their three children live in a remodeled home built in 1919, in Lake Elmo Minnesota.

Rick Severson

Rick started his remodeling career in 1984. Working with a small remodeling contractor. We did the work “demo to finish”. Maintaining a keen awareness of customer service, clean jobsites and client communication, this conviction was instilled early, and continues to be an important philosophy within our company today.

A slow winter in the early years allowed Rick to continue his education in the industry. A technical degree in architecture allowed Rick to get hands on experience working in residential architectural offices in the metro area. Drafting, design and project management within these offices led to self-employment in the Design/Build niche of the remodeling industry, where he’s stayed for 31 years.

Meeting new clients, working though projects from planning to completion, is still the motivating factor for Rick.

Married for 30 years, Rick and his wife Barb have two kids in college, a home in Hopkins, and enjoy a small cabin in the north woods.

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.
